Today we officially mark our commitment to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We are making it our priority to operate according to the expectations of the United Nations and to exceed those expectations where possible.
“Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” was adopted in 2015 at the UN Sustainable Development Summit, which was attended by more than 150 world leaders.
This agenda is a plan of action for people, planet, and prosperity that includes a declaration and a set of 17 goals and 169 targets for sustainable development.
Key Digital are using its efficient, practical, forward-thinking ways of working to drive new processes and concepts that encourage better practices. Our goals are the same as those of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.
The United Nations describe the Sustainable Development Goals as being the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
They recognise that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
