Based in the historic market town of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, CN Tech specialises in sourcing technical and laboratory equipment.
They provide sales and support across a diverse and expanding product range, which includes instrumentation for surface measurement, material and mechanical testing, and microscopy. They also provide environmental isolation solutions and a range of laboratory supplies.

Situation
When CN Tech were first in touch with Key Digital they had an office of four people working in accounts/administration, with a service & demo area and a small warehouse. The current print device was being used to produce shipping documents, commercial documents, invoices and orders.
The Develop ineo+ 224e print device had been in place for 6 years and it was time for a change. Print volumes were around 2,400 mono and 800 colour per quarter. The original supplier was a local business but they were bought out and the level of service had become frustratingly poor.
Solution
An Epson Heat-Free device was recommended by Key Digital and print samples were arranged to ensure that quality would not be an issue. After being impressed by the quality of the prints, the simple sign-up process meant that Key Digital’s technical support team were soon in touch to preconfigure the device based on CN Tech’s requirements.
The new machine prints pages within seconds, whereas their old laser printer had to wake up (warm-up) before it started printing. Unlike domestic ink printers they’d had in the past, they have never experienced any paper jams with the new device and the exchange of ink using the recyclable pouches compared to conventional cartridges is simple, clean, and easy to dispose of.
